The story of eLPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN, part of Grupo Fuertes, began in Alhama de Murcia (Murcia) 65 years ago. Since then, we have gone from founding a local business to expanding and becoming a reference in our sector, a milestone that we have achieved by respecting our own tradition. We are characterised by adding talent and passion to all that we do.
A SUSTAINABLE MODEL: QUALITY ASSURANCE
eLPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN is the axis on which a large part of Grupo Fuertes’ activities turn, with sustainability guiding our business model.
To ensure maximum food quality and traceability, we have an organisational system based on Integrated Process Control (CIP), a unique circular integration model which allows us to intervene in all phases of the production process to guarantee maximum quality, food safety and respect for the environment. The consumer is at the centre of this model.

With a philosophy of constant improvement, we dedicate a large part of our resources to developing innovative, balanced and nutritious foods which respond to the needs of consumers, providing extra pleasure, wellbeing and convenience in their 1,500 plus references. eLPOZO is Spain’s favourite brand, as its products are consumed in eight out of ten homes in the country
SAFETY
As food safety is a priority in our field of business, we take all available measures to ensure it, and have the most stringent international certifications which accredit the quality of our products.
Our priority: animal welfare
To ensure animal welfare, we work according to the principles of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
In this sense, we also promote the most ambitious animal welfare and biosafety protocol in Spain, a project which has been implemented, and which provides parameters which go much further than those set out by law.
And society
Since 2008, we have had the eLPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN Workers’ Foundation. We are involved with SPORTS and we sponsor the eLPOZO Murcia Indoor Football club, the eLPOZO Alhama FC Women’s team, the Spanish Paralympic Team, La Vuelta cycling tour of Spain, and eLPOZO BienStar Alhama de Murcia Synchronised Swimming.
We work with FOOD BANKS AND CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS, with half a million kilos donated by FUERTES GROUP food companies. We ensure maximum use of raw materials and products with protocols which optimise FOOD WASTE MANAGEMENT.
COMMITTED TO PEOPLE
People are the driving force of eLPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN; thanks to its people, the company’s business grows year after year. For this reason, we are working to offer a stable work environment, to ensure the health and safety of our employees, and to be able to attract the market's best talent.
To that end, we offer our workers different services and social benefits, such as a nursery for the exclusive use of employees’ children, scholarships, sports facilities and 24-hour healthcare, among others.
ENVIRONMENT
We are aware of the significance and of the impact that our activity has on the environment, therefore, we are strongly committed to looking after and respecting it.

In this challenge, we build on three pillars: applying the principles of circular economy, primarily based on product enhancement throughout their life cycle; our tendency towards the ‘Zero Waste’ goal; and reducing our environmental footprint.
ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN Workers’ Foundation
ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN Workers’ Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2008 whose objective is to develop actions for charitable purposes and social and cultural promotion, aimed at its employees.
The Foundation is sustained by mixed funds, 50 per cent workers and the company, a provision which enables them to collaborate with other NGOs and not-for-profit entities as well as the promoting sporting, educational and formative encounters.
