The eleventh stage of the race will set off from inside El Pozo’s facilities in Alhama de Murcia on 31 August
El Pozo Alimentación is a main sponsor of the cycling tour, one of the most important events on the Spanish sports scene
El Pozo Alimentación will be the starting point for Stage 11 of La Vuelta 22, taking place this coming 31 August. This stage passes through various towns of the Region of Murcia to finish in Cabo de Gata natural park.
It will be the first time that El Pozo Alimentación holds an event of this kind inside its facilities, although the company already welcomed the finish of a La Vuelta stage just outside its facilities in Alhama de Murcia in 2017.
El Pozo Alimentación is a main sponsor of the cycling tour, one of the most important events on the Spanish sports scene, to be held from 19 August to 11 September. The company has been affiliated to La Vuelta since 2016. It also sponsors the “Combativity Award”, voted by fans, who can choose the most combative cyclist of the previous day’s race on the website www.combativolavuelta.com
Moreover, as in previous years, El Pozo Alimentación through its brand ElPozo Bienstar will once again act as a main sponsor of the women’s race CERATIZIT Challenge by La Vuelta 22 with its five stages from Marina de Cudeyo (Cantabria) to Madrid. This collaboration strengthens the company’s support of the upsurge in this women’s sport in recent years.
