The company celebrates the 39th edition of its Improvement Groups, an internal initiative that breaks its record with 300 employees participating
El Pozo Alimentación has rewarded the new ideas proposed by its employees for the continuous improvement of products, services and processes in different areas of the organisation through the ‘Improvement Groups’. This year, the 39th edition of the initiative broke the participation record with a total of 300 employees, or 6.5 per cent of the workforce.
Of the total number of projects submitted, 185 studies and solutions related to the optimisation of processes, equipment and material, digitalisation, logistics, and other environmental and sustainability aspects, which have already been implemented in the company. In addition, four new groups have been created this year for material optimisation, plant technology solutions, efficiency and development.
This new edition has also made it possible to restore the physical presence of the teams, which was limited by the pandemic during the previous two years, but without losing the advantages of digitalisation and connectivity of previous editions.
The improvements identified each year by the employees lead El Pozo Alimentación to continue with these work methodologies due to the good results obtained, as well as for proposing solutions, favouring efficiency, sustainability and respect for the environment and teamwork among the employees. The ‘Improvement Groups’ involve those who know the company’s operations best to internally identify new, more efficient and sustainable working methodologies.
