The company is collaborating with this solidarity initiative led by Action Against Hunger and Hospitality of Spain, in which 267 restaurants will participate
For the fifth year running, El Pozo Alimentación takes part in the ‘Restaurants Against Hunger’ initiative, a solidarity project of Action Against Hunger and Hospitality of Spain, when 267 establishments will offer a solidarity menu or dish, starting today until 15 November.
Through this action, the collaborating restaurants will channel part of the price of their solidarity menu to combat child malnutrition and fight against hunger, aggravated by the effects of the health crisis, both in Spain and in the 50 countries where the humanitarian organisation works.
Chefs Quique Dacosta and Susi Díaz are the ambassadors of this project which began twelve years ago to raise funds for programmes to fight against child malnutrition. Ex MasterChef competitors Marta Verona and María Gracia have also joined the initiative this year.
El Pozo Alimentación also wishes to support the hospitality sector, sorely affected by the Covid-19 crisis, and which is showing its solidarity by donating to the fight against hunger. The leading food company is determined to support, promote and spread this initiative, and encourages everybody to contribute to the success of the solidarity campaign.
