El Pozo Alimentación is supporting the Spanish Paralympic Team in Paris 2024 in what will be its third consecutive Paralympic Games as an official sponsor of the ADO Paralympic Plan (ADOP). Moreover, on the occasion of the arrival of the Spanish athletes to the Olympic Village, ElPozo Alimentación accompanied them at the welcome lunch with a tasting of the brand’s products.
For the last eight years, El Pozo Alimentación has been part of the Paralympic Sports Support (ADOP [Apoyo al Deporte Objetivo Paralímpico]) Plan, an extraordinary opportunity to support paralympic sport and equal opportunities. With this collaboration, the company contributes to Spanish athletes being able to choose the right preparation required for high competition and to participate in the Paralympic Games, which will be held from 28 August to 8 September in the French capital.
The support provided by the leading food company to the ADOP Plan contributes to promoting inclusion in sport and diversity, disseminating sporting values and raising awareness of them in society. It also allows paralympic athletes to have access to training scholarships and grants and participate in a greater number of meetings and competitions.
El Pozo Alimentación reaffirms its support for sport, a fundamental value that is part of its business philosophy. Other sponsorships in which the brand is present include ElPozo Murcia Fútbol Sala football club, Alhama CF ElPozo women’s football club, and La Vuelta. As a brand ambassador, the company is linked to tennis player Carlos Alcaraz.
