ElPozo Alimentación has hired a total of 240 young people from the Region of Murcia enrolled on the ‘Youth Guarantee’ programme, after finishing one of the meat preparation operator courses with the promise of a contract for at least 65 per cent of the participants.
In total, 194 unemployed people under 30 have been hired to work in the Fresh Produce section and 46 of them are in the area of Processed Produce.
The company’s human resources director, Manuel García, and the director of the Regional Employment and Training Service, Alejandro Zamora, presented today the eighth and last call of preselection for the two new training activities in the speciality of fresh meat preparation operator.
During this process and in collaboration with the personal adviser of SEF, 50 people from the “Youth Guarantee” programme will be selected to carry out the training in the facilities of ElPozo Alimentación in Alhama de Murcia. The courses, lasting 200 hours, will be run over five weeks and have grants and help for commuting.
