ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN is taking part in the 30th Congress of the Spanish Diabetics Society, which is taking place in Seville until tomorrow Friday to present the ELPOZO BienStar range and the benefits of including it in a healthy diet aimed at diabetics.

More specifically, the food company is handing out informative material which includes recommendations and advice so that more than 1200 healthcare professionals at the congress can use them in their patient consultations.

Additionally, the company has an ELPOZO BienStar stand, the specialised healthy eating brand, at the thirtieth edition of this event offering samples of its ranges. The participants are also getting to know their heart-healthy qualities and receiving advice and recommendations from a dietician.

The objective of this congress is to address health needs which help to improve food and promote healthy lifestyles. Currently, 13.8 per cent of Spaniards over 18 have type 2 diabetes, more than 5.3 million people. From them, almost 3 million are diagnosed but 2.3 million, 43 per cent of the total, don’t even know they have the illness.

ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN maintains its relationship and commitment to health with specialists and healthcare professionals who play an important part in the recommendations and nutritional evaluations specifically aimed at modifying the sedentary lifestyle and the bad eating habits of many people.

ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN is a pioneer in making healthy protein foods, low in fat and salt as well as being lactose and gluten free. These products are recommended for people who need to reduce their intake of fat and salt, and form part of the diet of people who take care of what they eat.
