The Gama Innovation Awards are presented to the most innovative launches globally as voted by a panel of international experts
The awards ceremony took place at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, where ElPozo AllPlato won in the Packaging category
The packaging of the new ElPozo AllPlato range was revealed as a winner of the Gama Innovation Awards (www.gamainnovation.com) for its disruptive innovation. These awards, which this year celebrated their eighth edition, recognise the most innovative launches globally as voted by a panel of international experts from leading players such as PepsiCo, Nestlé and KraftHeinz.
The awards were presented at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester in an event that welcomed over 300 attendees from around the globe, including FMCG manufacturers, industry experts, retail buyers, investors, hotels and airlines.
The award was accepted on behalf of ElPozo Alimentación by Brand Manager Miguel Gironés and designer Montserrat Moreno. The presenter was the Chancellor of the Consul General of Spain from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Juan Pedro Hernando Espinosa.
Cesar Pereira, Founder & CEO at Gama which organised the awards, said: “ElPozo AllPlato Pasta Meals was a worthy winner in the Packaging category. Judges were won over by technology that allows pasta to remain ‘al dente’ when cooked in the microwave.”
The AllPlato ready meal range, comprised of gourmet fresh pasta recipes served in the revolutionary ‘Magic Bowl’, was created in response to trends for products that help save consumers time.
