ELPOZO is the brand most present in Spanish households for the ninth consecutive year

ELPOZO foods are purchased by 71.1 percent of households in Spain, according to Kantar Worldpanel’s ‘Brand Footprint’ ranking

For the ninth consecutive year, ELPOZO is once again the most popular brand in Spanish households, according to consultancy firm Kantar Worldpanel’s ‘Brand Footprint’ ranking, which is the most extensive study of large consumer brands based on real purchases during the previous year. ELPOZO’s food products are purchased by 71.1 percent of Spanish households, making it the preferred brand for families in our country.

The Spanish food company is ahead of Coca-Cola, and has attained over 105.20 million consumer contacts and a purchase frequency of 7.6. Furthermore, ELPOZO is the number one mass consumer brand in the highest number of Autonomous Communities: it is the leader in Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha, the Canary Islands, Murcia, Andalusia, Navarra and La Rioja.

The Brand Footprint 2024 study identifies the 50 most frequently purchased mass consumer brands in Spain. This report, which reflects household purchases, is based on consumer contacts, which are constructed from the number of purchasers of a brand and the frequency with which they buy it.

This year’s report reveals that successful innovation, supporting brands through advertising, running effective promotions, and working with distributors are the most effective levers for growth, and for making it possible to become a consumer favourite.
