Grupo Fuertes, the holding company that integrates ElPozo Alimentación, has opened LAB19, an experimental laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and other technologies where innovation and imagination have no limits.
This project is positioned as a pioneering concept in the field of technology, designed to foster creativity and talent. For its development, Grupo Fuertes has set up a face-to-face and dynamic space, located at the ElPozo Alimentación facilities, aimed at generating ideas.
LAB19 will feature several innovation programmes each year through strategic alliances with universities, specialised centres and technology leaders. “LAB19 is positioned as a factory of ideas, initiatives and operational prototypes within the AI framework. Its mission is clear: to host never-before-seen programmes and develop solutions that not only have a positive impact on the market, but also drive technological progress in society”, says Pablo Lorente, Chief Financial Officer of Grupo Fuertes.
The first of these, Business Tech Lab, promoted within the framework of the Grupo Fuertes Chair of Business Excellence, was launched at the beginning of June with a multidisciplinary team of 6 students from the University of Murcia, with degrees or double degrees in: Mathematics, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Business Administration and Law.
For eight weeks, these young people will experiment as a team to create new ideas through a disruptive methodology that allows them to work on prototypes under only two premises: that they can be applied in the business field and that they are based on Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies.
LAB19 allows its participants to innovate with complete freedom and without rules, and its methodology, with unexpected knowledge pills to invigorate the process, keeps them in a state of constant expectation. The aim is for students to acquire practical skills in a dynamic and experimental environment, complemented by knowledge, experience and resources essential for their professional development.
With initiatives such as LAB19, Grupo Fuertes reaffirms its commitment to excellence and technological transformation, and consolidates its position as a driving force for innovation in the global business outlook.
