ElPozo Alimentación workers have thrown themselves into the blood collection campaign organised by the Blood Donation Centre of the Region of Murcia so that tomorrow, on the “ Bando de la Huerta” (a local festival), there is enough supply in case of emergencies.
A group of health professionals went to the food company’s facilities in Alhama de Murcia to collect blood aimed at the special needs of the health centres.
ElPozo Alimentación workers are making this gesture of solidarity as they are aware that you cannot manufacture blood and the only option is to get it through donation. Treatment against cancer, surgery, organ transplants, for example, could not be done if people did not donate.
The initiative from ElPozo Alimentación that its workers can donate during the working timetable is part of the corporate social responsibility policy, aimed at the development and promotion of quality of life.
